Brilliant is a species which first appeared in the YEAR1 Limited Edition set with Rivelli The Tranquil One. Each tends to have unique and unusual abilities, none of which are shared between more than one card. This tends to make deck building around the brillians interesting but slightly difficult. Nonetheless, their contrasting play styles and odd synergies are often seen as very fun to play.
